[After reading] Read "Dry Method" to set a benchmark

[Editor's Note] After reading Kazuo Inamori's work philosophy "Dry Method", I admired his persistent attitude for decades. When you are serious about your work every day, you have achieved something that many people in this world cannot.

This book mainly tells us three points: the purpose of the work, the attitude, and the method.

First, what is the purpose of our work. Life is originally a kind of practice, we practice through various methods, but in fact, work is one of the most important aspects of our practice, because work has the closest relationship with us. From college to retirement, we spend almost all of our time at work. Therefore, our work is the most tempering for us. In each tempering, we are always learning from each other and persevering through the trials and tribulations again and again. Our mentality will be more peaceful and our minds will gradually improve. , When you work hard every day, your temperament will be exuded through persistence day after day and become one of your greatest advantages.

Second, our attitude towards work. Attitude is the beginning of everything, and when you rejoice, hell becomes heaven. Although attitude can not determine everything, but without a good attitude, everything will definitely not go smoothly. Work is the most touching thing in our life. If we don’t like it from the bottom of our heart, we will fall into an angry and sad mood every day. When working with this emotion, even a small mistake will make you feel caught off guard and fall into a more serious situation. Go in a pessimistic mood, and if this vicious cycle continues, life will become a never-ending nightmare. We all know the importance of liking our work, but we don't quite know how. I think, first, just like children will like this class more when they are praised by teachers, we will definitely be more motivated at work if our work is valued and praised by leaders. Second, when we break through ourselves, when we put in a lot of hard work and finally succeed, this sense of accomplishment can make us like our work even more.

Third, how do we work. When the purpose of our work is clear and the attitude is correct, in fact, we have succeeded more than half, and the rest is some methods of work. I think the most important thing is conscientiousness, when you work hard every day, your temperament and spirit will change drastically. The second is to persist, persist for one month, you are a beginner. Stick to it for three years and you are a skilled person. Stick with it for a lifetime and you'll become an expert. The next step is to set a high goal, set a goal that can be achieved by working hard, make a plan, and realize it step by step. Then there is innovation. In my opinion, innovation must be carried out on the basis of sufficient expertise, just like cooking a cow to understand a cow, you can understand the bones and tendons of the entire cow's body just by looking at the appearance. On the basis of these professional knowledge, you can increase your own understanding and ideas to create correct and practical work skills. Innovation without a solid foundation is more harmful than no innovation at all. In the end, try to make things perfect and pay attention to every detail in the work.

After reading "Drying", I have quietly found a benchmark for myself. I will complete my work conscientiously and steadfastly, and complete my daily tasks. For the hardships that may be encountered in the future, treat it as a kind of tempering in life, like a mussel embedded in sand, turning every tempering into a pearl.
